What to Expect
Venus Freeze™ treatments are non-invasive and painless, with many patients comparing the experience to a relaxing hot stone massage! As you lay comfortably on a treatment bed, the technician will apply a gel to the skin that helps the applicator glide more easily. After selecting the correct size applicator, the treatment provider will begin to apply smooth and consistent movements on the surface of the skin. It’s actually so comfortable that patients are encouraged to close their eyes and just relax. Each treatment can take anywhere from 15 to 40 minutes, depending on the area. You may see a slight pinkness on the skin afterward, but it should dissipate within an hour or so.
You can expect to see results as the treatments progress – a minimum of six treatments is usually recommended for the face, and eight for other parts of the body. The number of treatment sessions typically depends on the area being treated; however, it is not uncommon for patients to see continuing improvement in their skin up to three months after the series of treatments is complete.
